Richard had himself disguised as he walked in. His hair was tucked into a ball cap. He had on a long black coat to hide his vest and pants easily. He also had on sunglasses to hide his eyes. He took a seat somewhere and looked over the menu.

Katsu approached slowly, sizing up Ric's appearance. He was hiding something, probably his identity, but Katsu wasn't that dim. "New in town?" He asked, just in case he was wrong. The voice would confirm or deny his theory.

He didn't change his actions but spoke in a very tired voice. "You can say that... what do you recommend that's good to have with reunions?"

"Most pasta dishes." Katsu said calmly, clearly not shocked or anything. "Have you gone to see Tori yet? Or did you seriously pick me first? Cause you being in that silly outfit didn't shock me, but if you came to see me first, well I'm a 'being called Dad' away from a heart attack." It was bad humor, but it was Katsu's humor.

Richard laughed and took off the hat and sunglasses disguises. "I've seen Kayla, haven't gotten to Mom and Lil'Abby. Figured I'd come see you sense it's on the way home."

"Good enough reason." Katsu nodded and made a motion to one of the wait staff. "Two fettuccine alfredo." The staff member nodded and went back to the kitchen. Katsu looked back to Ric, "How've you been?"

"Miserable. Thought I hated you and Mom for the longest time. Got to New York and couldn't wait to get back--and not just to watch over Kayla. I missed my Mom and my Dad." He looked to the side as if it took a lot to say that and was silent for a moment. "If you fake a heart attack, I'm taking Tori with me to New York."

Katsu shrugged. "Kayla dated Noss for about fifteen minutes before leaving her for a guy she met who kissed her out of nowhere... yeah, I'm rooting for Noss to kick his ass just out of that over-protective father spite."

"She WHAT?!" He didn't care if people looked at him. "She's too young to be with anyone in that way!" He felt his fists tighten. "If it wasn't illegal now, I'd give them both the big brother treatment..."

Katsu pulled the Eye from his coat pocket. "I can work outside the law. And plan to if either of them get handsy." He shrugged, "Noss probably isn't a problem though. Syoaran said she's cuckoo for Coco Puffs now."

That made Richard laugh. "Well, I want to meet this guy. You and Mom still holding the festival?" He paused, "Can I get some water or something?" He hadn't been back long enough to remember anything about the city.

Katsu turned to a random waiter again and asked for a water. This was brought out promptly. "I personally don't want to. Don't want to think about him at all. There's an ick factor to being a parent I never anticipated." He sighed. "I hope Abby is asexual."
