"And go to jail..." Richard added. "I'll talk to Kayla then Noss if she'll see me. Then Kayla's boyfriend and find out who needs the ass kicking. Hell, it might be Kayla... and you could just forbid her from dating should it be mostly her fault."

"Maybe... but there wasn't much of an option for friends for her." He sighed. "Maybe I should hang out with Kayla for a bit to make sure no one tries to team up on her... Lin tends to be... melodramatic when bad things happen..." He paused to take a movie-like thinking pose. "Could this be a new family to feud with?"

"Hey, my idea of exciting is usually a lot more dangerous than taxi cabs." Katsu laughed. San Melina was a big, sprawling, city, but was far calmer than New York or LA. In truth, Katsu saw it as a tiny American Tokyo.

"A bit. The II branch head came in last night for a date with one of the Academy professors. A couple other big-name people come in from time to time. Dinner rush on weekends is intense." Katsu shrugged, "You know, if you need money I could always use another set of hands in the kitchen."
