Appearance: Personality:
Extremely flirtatious, and extremely confident in herself, Haruna is someone who isn't quite easy to deal with. However, she is rather helpful from time to time and isn't unwilling to help people who need it. At the same time, though, she tends to only help people who are close to her.History:
She's also particularly picky when it comes to hiring people who would be working directly beneath her or when deciding on a person to be in love with. She understands that it makes it harder for her to find such things, but she also understands that she'll be extremely satisfied when results occur from her picked few. Overall, she does enjoy talking to other people and being social. And she especially likes it when other females are "social" with her, if you catch my drift.
Besides this, she has no other major flaws or any major strengths. She does enjoy a good duel, though. Winning against her in one is usually something that will get you some respect from her. And she'll make sure to give you a hard time.
As a child, it was certainly tough for Haruna to survive in in the world, thanks to the difficult times she's had in her past. A poor family, a dying father, and a struggling mother. Eventually, she'd needed to have learned how to survive on her own. Scavenging, fighting, protecting the territory of her family... This all became an important part of her life. Eventually, she became good at it. Provoking people into fights for their food and successfully taking it was what she was known for, even as a small child. She was smart enough not to approach the older people though, knowing full well what they could do to her. As a result, of course she'd only target children her age and size. There was even a time when she'd gotten cards. Duel Monsters. She had no idea what they were used for or why they had any use at all. But a certain card got her interested for some reason. Crush Card Virus.Status: CEO of D-ENT
Upon looking around and going places, she'd found other cards and the other two viruses (Deck Destruction and Eradicator Epidemic). This was what got her going. Exploiting the power of the Virus Cards. Of course, at first, the deck was horrible. It rarely ever got Eradicator Epidemic Virus to work and Deck Destruction Virus rarely ever got anything, thanks to the deck styles around where she'd lived. As a result, she couldn't get any better with just this. However, she'd realized something important... With just this, she wasn't helping her family.
Her father, already on the verge of death as is, seemed to be having even more problems. Her mother was continuing to struggle for work, gathering as much money as she could for them to live. Haruna slowly found more and more that she couldn't do anything. Even if she did scavenge for as much as she could, there wasn't enough for the three of them... As a result... she ran away from home, taking whatever she had and leaving a note.
To Mother and Father,
I can't remain to ruin your lives...
With me, you two will barely make it yourselves.
So, I'll leave. That way, you guys'll at least survive...
I love you guys.
After leaving, she'd found herself a small place to live, taken in by a bunch of kind folks. Also, for some cliche-like reason, they had the decent ability to duel. They taught her what she needed to know, supplied her with cards she needed to be better, and even opted to send her to the Duel Academy. She had no idea why they were so kind to her, but she wasn't exactly complaining. Taking the exam and getting into one of the lower ranks, from there, she stayed a whole year, learning things and getting the hang of the school life. She was known as one of the meaner people of the school however and was left alone a lot. And, due to her deck type, she became known as "The Virus," infecting the opponent's deck and taking advantage of their weakened state.
She'd been at the academy for a good 5 years, usually keeping to her self and dueling when necessary. Of course, a few of the teachers knew her quite well for reasons regarding her grades. She'd sometimes use "bribes" or other such things to get her grades up and she'd steadily gone through the years easily. She was a senior student and had fun with lots of people, whether they were freshmen, or they weren't even from the academy. Not to mention the kinds of "fun" she usually had. But that doesn't really matter to her. She'd actually been looking to settle down with someone for awhile, and she still hasn't found that person during all of her years at the academy.
It was a little while later that she'd graduated and managed to intern for D-ENT for awhile, working as one of the scrub secretaries under the secretary of the CEO. It wasn't the hardest job in the world. In fact, it was one of the easiest jobs she had. A lot of it was filing, but she didn't mind it. Eventually, she took it on as a full-time job and befriended the secretary. She did her job efficiently, well, and was commended for it by the CEO himself.
She'd discovered later on that he was planning to retire soon, though. Feeling a bit sad about it, she wondered if the new CEO was going to be as good as the one she'd worked under. After all, he'd done revolutionary things for the Dueling industry and she hoped that the new one would meet with the expectations of the rest of the world. And he had no heir as well, so it was a mystery on how he'd decide upon who his new prodigee was. Little had she known, it was actually Haruna herself. And now, she's on a wild ride of corporate managing, just now getting used to her spot as the CEO of one of the most powerful companies in the world.
