Eyes of Tiamat, Isis, Ra, Horus, Bast, and Apophis.
That idea's what we're going to be going with? Shall you post about it in the Fieldguide or shall I?

We can add a seventh too. I'm partial to Hathor - Egyptian Goddess of Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll.

Powers, I hadn't given much thought to. But each of the seven is a gemstone roughly the size of a human eye, each a different color, set in a flat gold hexagon. The gold hexagon is eched with glyphs. It looks, holding it on it's side, like Saturn, the way it's set up. There's a hole on one of the six sides, so that the Eye might be worn as the Millennium Puzzle or Key were.

Alright, I want your opinion on this Katsu, I'm gonna write up something and I want you and Linny to approve it.
Eye of Ra - The soverign of the gods, Ra was the sun god of Egypt and the father of all of the gods. His eye commands the power of light, and though it does not dictate command of all of the Eyes, whomever bears the power of Ra is almost always looked to for advice and guidance. The color of this eye is a golden color. ((Hence we give this to someone who's like, uberly awesome. XD))
Eye of Hathor - Hathor in Egyptian myth was the goddess of love and harmony, and a lot like its soverign, it has the power to convince and manipulate people into becoming harmonic with each other. The one who bears this Eye will have the charisma to command and seduce others to their will. The color of this Eye is amethyst. ((AKA, I command you biatch.))
Eye of Isis - The mother of Horus and Egypt, Isis watches over all of her people, big or small. The one with this Eye will be compelled to protect all of those around them, and become the shield of the Eyes. This eye's color is sapphire. ((You're a shield.))
Eye of Horus - Horus, the son of Isis and Osirus, worked forever to avenge his father's death at the hands of Set. He is the battle hawk, the fighter, and the avenger. This eye's color is that of the fire ruby. ((You're a sword.))
Eye of Bast ((I know her as Bastet but whatever)) - The goddess of the sacred cat, Bastet always did have the power of vision in her grasp. This included the vision of the past, the present, and the future. The eye is made of diamond.((Tauk ring a bell?))
Eye of Apophis ((Isn't that Apep?)) - The god of the darkness, Apophis would try to devour the Sun Boat as it passed through the oceans of sky, thus plunging the world into eternal darkness. Every time there was a solar eclipse, he would nearly succeed, but Set would save the day and free the Sun Boat from Apophis' belly. Whomever controls this eye controls the darkness and the Shadow Realm. The eye is made of pure onyx.
Eye of Tiamat ((random Babylonian reference)) - Tiamat was the Babylonian goddess of life, and when the world was created, she became the earth and sky. Whomever owns this eye keeps the peace between all of the eyes, for he or she is the one that is the peacemaker, and she can be given any power, in a minimal amount, to do so. Her eye is made of peridot.
So... yeah... powers might be a bit vague but maybe we can all come up with powers based on those descriptions?

Apophis/Bast - Just like those names better. As for Tiamat, I did kind of steal the visage of the Eyes from the show Stargate, which used the Eye of Tiamat. It's kind of an hommage to what I shamelessly stole.
As for powers based on that...
Hathor = Rod Bast = Tauk Isis = Ability to generate or disspell Shadow Magic. Apophis = The Ring's power to manifest Spells and Traps. Tiamat = Gains the power of the nearest Eye, Item, or Shadow Charm.
Don't know about Ra or Horus (and, if you want some messed up mythos, Ra is Horus). And we might consider an eighth, a male deity, for gender-balance. Sorry, Lin, but it seems fair. Plus, we aren't going to keep over, and over, and over remaking Eyes like Raven does Items.
As for mythos of the Eyes themselves, they were used by the Egyptians in the war with Atlantis, held by commanders of the Armies of Egypt, which, at the time, might have fought alongside Babylonia for mutual self-defense. Hence Tiamat.

Katsu.... no. We do not go with the whole Ra is Horus thing. >___________< Gad I hated that so much.
I vote, if we put in an eighth, we put in either Osirus or his brother Set. I'm voting Osirus because if we get tangled with that whole Abyss plot, as some will be tempted to do... >_<
Eye of Osirus - Osirus was the first Pharaoh of Egypt and the first Pharaoh to become a God, as well as the husband of Isis and the father of Horus. He was killed by his brother and when he was killed, he became the soverign of the spirit world and the Underworld, where the dead souls would go to be judged. ((Can anyone say Twilight just got covered?))

Osiris was one of my first choices, and since the other actual God of the Egyptian God Cards got an Eye (We'll just pretend Obelisk secretly meant Apophis?) it seems fair Osiris gets one too.
Eye of Osiris = Commune with and control untethered Duel Spirits?

Chaw.
Alright so, to recap.
Ra - The one to govern them all. Hathor - Control of the mind. Isis - Ability to dispell Shadow Magic. Horus - Ability to attack with Shadow Magic. ((Might I suggest we give that one to someone who's not going to spam it?)) Bast - Seeing into the future. Apophis - Manifestation of Spells and Traps into the real world. Osirus - The control of untethered Duel Spirits and the communication with the spirits. Tiamat - Gains power of the nearest Eye.
Agreed?

With some flexibility, yes. Write in some conditional thing about how "the power is not well understood."

Pssht, I am the queen of giving limits. Don't worry. They won't be spamming and godmodding this stuff. It looks powerful... but with the limits I'm about to give, it isn't.
So, just waiting for Linnis to sign on and agree and I'll get right on it.

She will. She's just lazy. Go for it, whenever you want.
