It had been her talk with Tyson that had driven her after her class to come down into this cavern and sit down in the cool, damp darkness. Now her eyes were closed and she was leaning over with her legs crossed, rubbing her temples.

Her past was coming back to haunt her in many different forms. Her brother, her teachers, her peers... but none of them had effected her and brought back as much memories as that one boy in her class, Tyson Gold. He reminded her of a man that she thought she could forget.

When she had been a teenager, young and impressionable, her heart had been split in two ways, both in her mind and in her emotions. She had actually loved two men.

One of them had been just as troubled of a child as she was. They had been through Hell and back together, and they hadn't planned to separate, until the day that she had snapped and tried to kill him again in a Shadow Duel. She had tried to get his Twilight Eye from him. That man was Marvelo Namaguchi, and he was just one of the many that had come back to haunt her.

The second man had been so much more then Marvelo was. He had been her mind. He had been her inspiration. He had been her mentor. He had been her terror. But yet he had given her life like she could have never had. She saw that after all these years. Back then, she feared him like no other force in the world and saught to get as far away from him as she could. Now she wanted nothing more then to see him again, to see if he was alright, to see if he was free or if the Shadow Realm had finally become whole within him.

Tyson Gold reminded Mizuki Haruka of her friend and teacher, Kamuro Umbra. It was haunting in that fact. She couldn't shake that off at all.

She raised her head and looked up at the ceiling. She reached up to her face and took off her spectacles and placed them beside her on the rocks. Then she reached to her eyes and took out the contact lenses within them.

The eyes were a glowing teal behind the blue lenses she had put in. And the eyes cried, tears dripping down her face.

She let her violet-grey hair fall down her shoulders and she took off her black work blazer she had worn over her sweater today. Though it was June, she still wore it to look professional. She bowed her head and looked into the water in the cavern, seeing the teal eyes that weren't hers, but his. It was all his. She had gotten these eyes permanently at the age of seventeen, when she had regained her memories. She almost went to touch the water's surface, but the ripples started with one tear.

"If I could wish upon a star." She said to herself, and then she retreated back from the pool, hugging her legs.

Roxxan walked through the forest humming silently. She had always found forests nice for some reason, and hated it when people tore them down. She stopped as she heard something in a near by cavern; Silpheed appeared next to her sighing. Mizuki? she asked Silpheed silently, he merely nodded. Roxxan sighed as she ran over towards the cavern, slipping some, and kept running until she found a Mizuki that was hugging her knees. '' Mizuki-sama shouldn't let other people see her when she's like this '' she said silently '' And she shouldn't get like this in the first place '' she said to Mizuki as she walked over to her and sat down next to her.

Mizuki nearly looked up but she restrained herself from doing so. Instead she grabbed her contacts quickly and turned away, slipping them back in so that Roxxan could see her face.

"Gomen, Roxxan-chan." She said with a cough. She cleared her throat and cleaned her face as best she could before she turned back to Roxxan, her contacts back in and her eyes not teal, but with the violet hue once again. She didn't want Roxxan to see that aspect of her... ever. Not even Shizuma knew about how much she had taken on Umbra's features. She smiled sadly.

"Everything's catching up with me. I... I hate the past. You know that." She said as she shook her head and took back her spectacles, placing them on her nose. "And everything I see reminds me of Domino."

Roxxan smiled softly. I shouldn't tell her about the gem Shizuma found.. she thought as she smiled softly and said '' I hate the past too, but only because it haunts the present and the future ''.

[Emrys Nimbus]

"I suppose... my past is gone but it still hurts sometimes, and I still have scars from it." She sighed and leaned against the wall. "But I've got to be strong for those kids, right? Make sure nothing happens..." She looked away.

"And something is going to happen, Roxxan-chan... I can feel it coming. I probably still have tiny traces of my power left, from when Masami separated from me, that's why I can sense it... but something hugely magical is around the air, and I can't figure out its intentions."

Roxxan smiled as she said '' Don't worry I'm sure he won't do anything stupid '' she paused then her face turned red. Aghh! I wasn't going to say anything! she thought. '' Uhhh Mizuki! What do you think is weirder Shizuma in a Tutu, or Marvelo in a puppy costume? '' she asked.

[Emrys Nimbus]

"Who's not... and... alright forgive my English for a moment." She coughed. "What the fuck are you talking about?" There was a long pause.

"Why would I think of my brother in a tutu?" Mizuki asked in bewilderment. Then she thought for a moment and started rocking back in forth. "ACK! ROXXAN!" Yes... this was Mizuki being mindscarred.

"Good blessed Ra, if it's a choice between my brother in a pink frilly tutu and my ex-boyfriend dressed as a Furby.... AUGH!" She moaned, shaking her head violently. "What the hell Roxxan!"

Roxxan smiled '' Sorry, I had to change the subject, and I was watching a comercial last night about a Tutu wearing dog, and me and Shizuma had talked this morning about something, and some parts of the conversation reminded me of Marvelo. So it all went together very iniccontly ''.

Mizuki's face was back to the frown. "Roxxan... who were you talking about before? Do you know something about the magic I keep feeling?"

Roxxan smiled '' Well Shizuma found a an odd eye gem, and the box said the name of a godess, so we eighter figured he could control people, or he was the re encarnation of the wife of Ra '' she paused '' Does that make sense? ''.

Mizuki's shock took a little bit to register. First it went to her hand, making it rigid. Then it went to her face. Then her eyes widened. Next her jaw clenched.

"Perfect sense. What... the hell... would that be?" Mizuki asked herself. "And why is my brother being caught up in controlling magic again?"

Roxxan laughed '' Yeah I guess the past is coming back ''.
