Shizuma had stood at the freshly finished and set up grounds of the Spirit Festival. While things had been stressful...it was times like this that truly made people forget...if only for a little while. As he stood there he turned and looked to walk way to the Academy as he looked down it expecting someone.
And that someone...or someones started walking down the sidewalk from the Academy. These someones were none other than Shizuma's duel spirits. Currently they were all dressed in their armors.
In the middle was, Zanji the Samurai of Light. To his right was Yaichi, Kamon, Ginchiyo, Kojiro. To his left was Mayumi, Yariza, Nisashi, and Irou. Shizuma remembered the first time he had seen this sight...and it was just as amazing.
"Hey you guys...welcome to the Dawn!" called out Shizuma as he waved them to come on.

Oh. My. God.
I was practically having a fangirl fit and I loved it. I loved the fact that I was ACTUALLY seeing the famous samurai on this world. I stared in awe and I almost wished that I had Koji here to fangirl with. Even though Koji probably would've just laughed at me. That was the problem with being friends with my idol. And holy crap, was that Matsuna! AIE!!!!
I sat on a bench nearby and I was eating a popsicle that I had kept cold in the mini-cooler I had beside me. I was a camper, did you really think that I didn't have one? I usually kept it stock full of ice and when I was going on a day trip, I took it with me. And I did NOT plan to go home today. Especially after seeing this. The festival got a lot more interesting to me!
I got up off my bench and then I couldn't help it. I went up and practically stared.
"Oh COOL!!!" I said, flailing. "These guys are so awesome... Oh my God this is AWESOME!" I squeed. Then I broke out of it and looked at Shizuma.
I remembered that his son, Koji, had told me who he was. And now that I was looking at both my savior in the dueling industry and in that shop, I grinned.
"Hey there Mister! Friends of yours?" I asked him and I winked. "Should've told me these guys were your buds the last time we had a chit chat!" I commented.

"Well aren't you just a bundle of energy? It's a pleasure to meet you." said Zanji as he looked at Airi with a smile as he removed his helmet.
"She sure is, Zanji-kun...hi there, It's a pleasure miss." said Mayumi with a chipper smile as she bowed.
"Well, It seems you are a fan of them as well, Airi-san. Yes, these are friends of mine...and do forgive me for not saying anything. They have been my friends and closest allies for years now, and the fact that I have them here with me is always a great honor." said Shizuma as he turned smiling at Airi.
The other samurai smiled watching Airi...she seemed like a bundle of energy and to see that energy made Shizuma smile more than any. After seeing her so scared and vunurable...he almost dared Barbariccia to try and get this girl now.

((I've been told to switch to third person format, so... here we go! Wish me luck! ^_^))
She gaped in awe and then she flailed enthusiastically.
"Oh this is so cool... so cool so cool so COOOOOL!" She squeed again and then she looked at Irou, her grin still plastered upon her face. She grinned even wider.
"Irou, you were always my favourite, and that's saying something." She said. "I was just..." She didn't seem to know what she could do with herself. She flailed again and then turned to Shizuma.
"Mister, when I met your son, I swear I ended up having a geekfest, but that's no where near as bad as I'm geeking out right now." She laughed and grinned again. "It's a pleasure to meet you again! Last time you didn't tell me your name so let's just call this the first meeting, no?" She asked with a wink. Then she laughed.
"Okay. Mega cheesy. But I ended up doing this for your son, so..." She whipped out a violet rose from her sleeve with a wink. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Matsuna."

Shizuma chuckled and took the Violet Rose from Airi with a smile. He took a sniff of it before he reached into his coat and at first pulled out nothing. But then he smiled holding his opened hand out to Airi before twirling it quickly and producing a White Rose. It was only fair right.
"It's an honor to meet one of my new students, Airi-san...I'm Shizuma Matsuna." It was then he used his free hand to motion to the other Samurai. "And as you know...these are the Six Samurai, Grandmaster Kojiro, Priestess Mayumi, and the Hand of the Six Samruai, Ginchiyo.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Airi-san...I"m honored you think so highly of me." said the Samurai of Darkness as he bowed in respect and greeting.

"I so gotta learn that trick." Airi commented as she took the white rose with a giggle. This was too awesome. Too too too too too awesome! She couldn't help it, she was having the time of her life. She turned to the others and grinned.
"Yo!" She commented to them all and then she turned to Irou and laughed. "What? Because you're a Dark element? You're smart about what you do, how could I not respect that man?" She asked him.
This was so cool.

It was then Irou lifted his darkness visor and smiled at her showing her his soft brown eyes that looked right at her, showing her that he wasn't completely a blind swordsman.
"Beleive me, I've seen many who have praised my efforts...though I know I still have much to go and do before I am anywhere near being the best." said Irou as he smiled at Airi showing his humble nature.

"Nah. Just be yourself man, just be yourself." She said with a raised thumb. She had had no idea that Irou had been considered blind, she just assumed that he didn't put up the visor much. She held out her hand to Irou to shake his hand.
"Since we can actually do this sort of thing at the Festival... and I wanna shake you guys' hands too! This is so AWESOME!!!"

"I'm sure they would be happy to, Airi-san." said Shizuma with a smile.
"Indeed, Airi-san...allow me to be the first." said Irou as he shook her hand.
Zanji took his turn next and took hold of Airi's hand in a firm handshake with a light smile.
"Indeed we can, and it is a pleasure to meet you Airi-san."
"It is an honor to meet you young lady, as he shook her hand." said Nisashi taking his turn.
"Young one...it is a pleasure to meet one of such life." said Kojiro with a smile.
"It's a pleasure, Airi." said Yaichi as she bowed as she shook Airi's hand with two hands.
"Sure is kid, it's Awesome to meet you." said Kamon with a grin as he shook her hand energetically.
"A pleasure, Airi-san." said Mayumi with a soft smile as she shook her hand and bowed.
"Nice to meet you, Airi." said Yariza as he shook her hand.
"It is an honor and a pleasure, Airi-san." said Ginchiyo politely as she bowed.
Shizuma smiled as each of the samurai gave their greetings.

She shook each of their hands in turn, grinning at each and every one with a brand new smile on her face for every one, before she cycled through them and finally came to Shizuma, holding out her hand. She raised one eyebrow.
"Come on Mister... you're a samurai too, admit it."

"Only by nick name...I'm the White Rose Samurai." said Shizuma as he took Airi's hand and shook it with a smile.
Shizuma was called a Samurai by so many people. So he supposed it was only fair that he shook her hand as well. It was so awesome that Airi seemed to be a fan. He only hoped that he would be a good role model for Airi.

"So? You hang with the Samurai too, keep that in mind." She said with a grin as she shook his hand enthusiastically. "You might as well be." She didn't even know about the training that he did either. She just judged off the fact that he seemed like one. Maybe he'd be Grandmaster some day.
"But, time to-"
"Oh THERE you are!" Behind Airi was another duel spirit, a warrior duel spirit, who took her name after the plants that Airi used. She was Rose, Warrior of Revenge, and she was tapping her foot, her red hair blowing in the wind. She kept one hand upon her hilted short sword, her black garb covering her body. She came up behind Airi and looked towards the samurai with an incline of her head.

"Well, Airi...looks like you have a friend too. Rose, Warrior of Revenge if memory serves me correctly." said Shizuma with a smile.
As he looked at Airi, he smiled at her. She thought him a Samurai...not just because of his name. He had never met a fan quite like her. He knew people in school were fans of him and the rest of the teachers. But for him it was rare he met a fan of himself. It put a smile on his face.

The warrior placed one hand over her heart and then she bowed gracefully towards Shizuma with great reverance. An inch of a smile crept upon her face and she looked up. "In the flesh and blood, for the duration of the month."
"Oh COOL!" Airi flailed. "That is so awesome! This is... AIE!" She laughed. She felt like a little kid at Christmas.

Koji had been walking about looking at the Festival. There were so many fun things...but he needed some money so that he could play some of the fun games that were there. As he looked around he saw a sight he couldn't imagine. All of his Dad's Duel spirits...in Physical Form! It was then that Koji rushed forward and then joined Airi and his father with a bow of greeting. "Airi-san, Oto-san...Konnichiwa." said Koji with a smile as he looked at Airi. "And Konnichiwa to all of you as well everyone." As Koji stood up laughing and smiling at everyone looking estatic. It was at this time that behind Koji appeared another Red Head appeared.  She stood behind them all and smiled as she looked at them all. It was Shizuma, another red headed girl, and her charge, Koji. She smiled looking at them just watching now in her physical form. |

"Yo! Koji!" Airi said as she whirled around. She hugged him tight with a grin. "Good to see you, I'm glad that you made it!" Of course, she had completely disregarded that Shizuma was there, she was just glad to see Koji, and that was all. She had made a friend after all. She grinned as she hugged him around the neck and she looked up at Kayori.
"Hiya Kayori!" She commented. "It's been a while!"

Shizuma smiled seeing Airi hug his son. It seemed that Koji had made a friend here on campus already and he was glad to see it. It was kind of cute seeing these two young people smiling and being friends. But what he saw next really made him go "Aww". Koji was smiling and laughing and then turned and got a blush on his face as he looked upon the in flesh form of none other than Kayori.
"Aww...." was all Shizuma could say to himself.

Setsuna smiles as she looks around, and, sure enough, Dullahan was right behind her, looking around just as curiously. He took the form of a suit of shimmering, black armor that moved around on its own, and, orbiting around him were the the four Living Weapons...a sword, a spear, a mace, and a staff; each as black in color and shimmering as the armor. Naturally, each weapon had its own (albeit simple-minded) personality. Dullahan himself seemed very intrigued by the events taking place, and spoke in a very deep, almost echoing voice, which had a hint of an old english accent.
"I say...it would seem we've become tangible. What manner of sorcery is this?!"
"I wanna cut something!!! Cut! Cut!"
"No! You be a good...sword and...try to contain yourself"
"SMASH!!! CRUSH!!!"
"Ooh! Are there any shields?! I wanna pierce some shields!"
The staff, strangely enough, remains silent.
"Oi! If you don't stop, I won't use you in any duels!"
All of them started to complain, but quickly quieted themselves when Setsuna glares at them...you know a person was intimidating when she could make possessed weapons flinch. She sighs "Dullahan, try to keep them in check, okay?"
"As you wish, Milady!"

Airi had ended up faced away from Shizuma and instead faced towards this peculiar new lady with her weapons floating around her. The girl stared at the weapons that were talking and then she giggled.
"Holy crap I LOVE this place!"

Koji had finally come out of his admiring stare at Kayori as she smiled at him. Kayori smiled and approached them all and then bowed to all currently present as she spoke as politely as Ginchiyo yet with the energy of Mayumi.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all, I am Kayori." said Kayori with a smile.
Koji was the first to respond as he bowed back.
"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Kayori-chan."
