Tori walked through the courtyard with a smile. Ah, this place was relaxing--more or less--and she had a job she liked. She had dropped Abigail off at daycare to come to work. Kayla had already gone to school with some of her friends. Richard... heaven's knew where he was. She furrowed her brow at that thought but went back to smiling. Company would be more than welcomed...

And so she had it. "Fancy seeing you around, Auntie Tori." She pronounced it like the shortened form of "Victoria" rather than it's strange actual pronunciation. "You working at the school now? That's pretty cool." Piper Harada smiled a huge grin. She wore a black top and black skirt with a crimson uniform vest. It was hardly standard issue, but nothing about Piper was. She was her own person, and that's just how things were for her. Individualistic to a fault, that was Piper.
Piper had been at the school aimlessly wandering the grounds before her second day. Wandering. Aimlessly. Aimlessly wandering usually meant trying to think, or clear one's mind, or accomplish some internal goal. For Piper, it was, in truth, totally without aim.

"Oh, yes I am. Good morning Piper." Tori smiled at her. She was use to the wrong pronunciations in the US, so she didn't bother to correct her. She lifted a brow at her uniform. "Still sticking out in the crowd I see? Don't lose your individuality, dear." Tori herself was in her (now classic) black thank top and black jeans. Though, she wore black high-heels instead of her normal boots. On her head she wore a pair of black goggles--a joke as Abigail liked to squirt her juice boxes at people.
"How are your mothers?" She asked.

"Busy," Piper said succinctly, but elected to elaborate "After all this time, they finally got their licensee to open the club. Mom Rei said that working at Uncle Katsu's restaurant was helpful to her, seeing how to run that kind of a business. She said if Katsu hired bands every weekend, it's be pretty much the same thing."

Tori laughed. "Well, that may be true." She thought about it. "Ok, that's true from the T to the E. Doesn't your aunt get a hug?" She opened one arm with the question.

Piper chuckled a bit and hugged her aunt lightly, "You know, Richard'd pint out, to me my aunt, my mom would have to really be my mom, and that's not necessarily the case. But, it doesn't really matter to me." She laughed a little more and let go. "I hear Madam LeFay's daughter enrolled."

"Oh? Little Anne? I'll have to go see her as well." Tori had hugged her back. "Where are you heading to this morning?" Tori put a hand in her pocket with a grin.

She blinked. "Actually... nowhere." It was true. Re: Aimless Wandering. She seriously had no destinations in mind.

"Really now?" She tilted her head in thought. "Well, want to help me set up my office?"

She shrugged. Might as well, right? She gave Tori a nod and started off toward the main building. That's where most offices were, so it stood to reason that Tori's office would be there. "A lot of the staff here are ex-Abjects, Mom Rei said. Aunt Linnis, Dawn, Shizuma...."

"Myself... though, I still feel like one..." She admitted allowed before smiling at her. "Thanks for helping me, by the way. I get side-tracked easily, you know."

She nodded, "No problem," She prided herself on not breaking into laughter at this, "Now, what is it we're doing?" She managed to be totally serious for a few moments, but just couldn't keep it up. She broke out into laughter and shook her head. Oh, too much.

"I... honestly don't remember where I left off in my office..." She laughed softly with a blush.

She blinked. "Why am I not surprised..." Piper Harada sighed and went off walking ahead of Tori. She might as well help Tori, she didn't have something more important to do.

Tori smiled. "Thanks. We should go see Anne too... she'd be surprised."

She stopped and blinked very, very slowly. It was a habit the friends of her mothers had, and one she picked up from them. "Anne?" She didn't know any Annes. Sounded really American, though, so it wasn't too surprising. They weren't in Domino after all.

"Andromeda. I call her Little Anne." Tori gave her a small smile.
