Shizuma had come to his office after finishing some business he had to take care of. As he walked in he looked at a package that was sitting on his desk. It was a small box that had a tag on it. Keeping his guard up he slowly walked towards it...and then looked at the Tag. All it said was simply...
For Professor Shizuma Matsuna....
Take good care of this...
He wasn't sure who wrote the card the the handwriting was magnificently done. He opened the box and saw a small golden box that was decorated with Egyptian markings. It was when he saw it his eyes widened as he picked the small gold box out of the packaging. What he felt was a very familiar feeling...and yet..it wasn't familiar. It was then he knew that there was magic in this box. Opening the Gold Box after placing it on his desk. Shizuma opened it to reveal an Amythest Jewel that was shaped almost like an eye.
"Oh, Shizu-Kun...there you are." said Mayumi as she manifested in his door way. The duel spirit then moved over with a giggle towards him as he placed his hand on the jewel.
It was in that moment that he saw the glow and felt a rush of magic flowing into him...this was a very familiar feeling indeed. As he finished picking it up he saw it was hooked to a small golden chain, that would easily fit around his neck. He felt different as he held the jewel in his hand. As he turned towards Mayumi, he saw a surprised look on her face.
"Mayumi? What's wrong?"
"Nothing at all...but I have to say...what ever just happened to you...you definately feel like you have...a very strong aura about you now. What is that thing?" asked Mayumi
"I'm not sure...though after feeling that...I'd love to know what it is too." said Shizuma as he looked at the gem in his hand.

'' I would imagine it's something very similiar to one of the Items you use to carry around '' said a soft voice as Roxxan walked in smiling. '' It really does remind me of the eye Marvelo use to carry '' she nodded as she looked at the box on Shizumas desk. '' I can't read all of it, but it says Hathor '' she paused and smiled '' Hathor was the Egyptian godess of love, Wife of Thoth and Ra, and a Blood Thirsty warrior if given the chance '' she giggled '' I think that eye might represent her, or you could just be reincarnation of the Wife of Ra ''.

"I hope it's not the reincarnation part because that would be just weird." said Shizuma as he turned around to look at Roxxan. "And if Hathor was a love Goddess? Then what would this thing do? Make people fall in love with me or something?"
"I don't know but it might be the case...Shizuma-sama..." said Mayumi with an almost naughty grin.
It was as he held the eye that it glowed again as he tried to focus on it. It was this glow that made him hope to the heavens that it's power was not being evoked. If it was...who knew what kind of trouble he may end up getting himself into.

Roxxan giggled as she looked at Shizuma '' Yeah that probibly would be a little difficult to explain to Corrona '' she paused '' You should not mess with it too much until you are completly sure as to what it is '' sighed Roxxan.

"No kidding, any idea where I can start finding information on what this thing is?" said Shizuma as he looked at the gem in his hand again.
He breathed a sigh of relief that this gem didn't activate it's powers when he focused on it. To say the least the reaction might give him a heart attack. But as he thought about it he realized that once again something that can mess with the minds or hearts of someone had once again been entrusted to him...
'How did I get myself into this one?' thought Shizuma as he looked at the Gem awaiting Roxxan's answer.

Roxxan shrugged her shoulder, and sighed '' I don't know... '' she paused '' Last time I had historical records to help, but nothing in the known history records state anything about these eyes... '' she stopped '' Maybe I should go back to Eygpt to go see if I can scrounge anything up '' she paused '' Yes most of the time things like that are the stuff of legends passed down through hundreds of years, so the people there might know more ''.

"I would appreciate it but I wouldn't want you to go to Egypt on my account. I'll just keep this thing quiet and hope that no one gets exposed to it's power by accident. I'd hate to have to run around all day just to avoid someone that fell in love with me because of this thing...plus explaining this eye to Corrona is probably going to be harder than I'm already thinking it's going to be." said Shizuma as he looked at Roxxan.
Shizuma did want to know what was going on with this thing but at this point he didn't want Roxxan going so far out of her way because of his issue. But just by judging on the source of the name he had to be careful not to let any magic in him go out of control...it could activate the gem's power and cause one serious problem.

Shizuma thought about it for a moment as he looked at the size of the box, he knew it would fit easily without bulging out too much in his inner coat pockets.
"That's probably not a bad idea at this point." said Shizuma as he put the orb back in the box it came in. Once that was done he took the small box and put it in inside his coat. "So, Roxxan...what brought you to my office?"
Shizuma was kinda curious as to why Roxxan had come to visit him in his office. At this point however, Mayumi's eyes were still on Shizuma...that power was very curious and she wanted to figure out waht was going on too.

Roxxan smiled softly as Silpheed appeared behind her. '' He said something was up, that there was a large gathering of energy '' she paused '' I guessed that was what caused it '' she laughed Silpheed merily floated behind her.

"Should have guessed it was another one of us Spirits." said Mayumi with a smile. "So since it seems, that we've found the source of the energy. Perhaps we should I.D. it? I mean, I personally liked what I saw from what the gem did to him when he took it. So I am kinda curious as to what happened to him." said Mayumi with a grin.
She may have been new to Shien's court but she was already liking what she saw from the man that her fellow samurai followed around.
"I guess this thing did cause it...though the question is...if you don't have the info...who would around here?" said Shizuma as he thought about it.

"That's not such a bad idea...Roxxan. It's almost lunch time, do you want to go check it out?" asked Shizuma as he stood there pulling out the Keys to a car that he owned.
Mayumi stood there with a grin...for her perhaps Shizuma learning more about this was providing more interesting things for her to watch.

Roxxan nodded '' Sure, we should probibly hurry '' she paused '' Shizu-chan doesn't want to be late for his afternoon classes '' she smiled.
Silpheed looked at Mayumi. Humans are not here so you can just have something intresting to watch he said coldly to Mayumi in a low tone so that not even Roxxan could hear him.
