Long story short, the new electronics shop in Crawford Avenue was taken over by a teenage college student. How do you ask? Well, it was originally owned by a couple who had to settle some debt for massive electric bill they had. They had to sell the place, and who did they sell it to? A random European girl that was passing by that conveniently majored in Technological Science and had lots of money on her. Ironic no?
So it was the first day of work and Espoir walked in quietly and calmly. Of course that random couple showed her the ropes before they left it in her care. They said they would one day come back and see how the shop was doing. Nevertheless, it was expected to be a smooth day. The store was suppose to be a small business, so why the hell was it as big as a BestBuy, she would often wonder. "Err... okay then. This should be an interesting experience."

"Okay now find something quick so we can get out of here." The woman said from the inside of the store. Natalie wasn't sure how she was dragged into the store. It confused her that her own children had the power to be able to convince their mom to their will. Darn the cute pouts.
Both of the kids nodded excitedly and ran off down random aisles in an attempt to find something to fill their childhood needs. Natalie sighed and turned to look around for something herself. Maybe they wouldn't get anything expensive...she hoped.
Her eyes soon traveled to the young woman who was working at the moment behind the counter. Wasn't that... Natalie walked slowly over to the counter and raised an eyebrow in question. "Espoir Horizon?" She asked in question. There was no denying it. The resemblance was too much alike. Spitting image of her mother.

Espoir looked up at the woman and blinked. Who was this lady and how did she know her name? She was pretty sure that she wasnt wearing any sort of name tag. "Uh, yes. Is there something I can help you with?" Her voice sounded puzzled and uneasy. Her eyes eventually trailed to the kids with the woman that started running around in the store. Oh geez...

"It is you! You're so grown up!" She laughed slightly. "I remember when you were just a kid. You and your mom looked just alike. Now you're a spitting image!" She smiled and shook her head. Great. She sounded like an old grandma looking at her grandchildren for the first time in years. Plus she was probably confusing the poor girl.
"You probably don't even remember me. Its been years since I've seen you. I'm Natalie Sayre, a friend of your mother." It couldn't have been that long since she last saw them. Surely she could remember something.

As her mom would put it, this was a "dotdotdot" moment. Espoir looked at the woman as if she was some crazy lady. Natalie Sayre, she said her name was? She remembered a blonde lady with her mother when she was a child, but that woman's name was Natalie Lopez. "Umm... I suppose so. Its... nice to see you... again?"

Natalie sighed. "You probably don't remember me. Its okay though. Its been a long time so I guess you can't remember much." The girl's reaction seemed like she had no clue what Natalie was talking about. But it couldn't be helped.
"So um...how are you lately?" She asked trying to start up a conversation in hope to get rid of the awkward atmosphere. Or it could make it worse...crap.

"Okay. I guess..." she replied awkwardly. She tried to remember this lady, but the only person that would pop in her head was a Natalie Lopez. Maybe they were related somehow? "Were you related to Natalie Lopez or something?" she asked.
She vaguely remembered her mother and Natalie talking to each other in the past. Then, like her mom's other friends, she would spoil Espoir rotten. Wow she missed those times.

Natalie blinked. She was...Crap! She slapped her hand on her head. She said her new last name. Duh Natalie. "Oops. I didn't say my old last name. Its me, Natalie Lopez. I got married a while back and changed names. Now I just automatically say Sayre." She smiled. No wonder she had no clue who she was.

"Huh? So you are Natalie?" Espoir questioned. A smile suddenly lit her face, "Wow. So this is where you disappeared to. I missed your tendency to spoil me," she joked. She then looked at the kids from before. "So... that means. Those kids are yours?"

"Yeah. The brunette is Kari and the blonde is Trinity. I didn't exactly disappear. I was just trying to start a new life with the girls ever since the divorce." She shrugged but smiled nonetheless. Now things weren't awkward. That was good. At least Espoir remembered her now.
"Your mom always used to yell at me for spoiling you." She laughed sheepishly. Ah the memories and the pains. She still remembered the hits on the head that her friend gave for spoiling Espoir. Natalie scowled. She acted like she didn't do the same thing to her child. Abusive friends...

"I bet she did. Mom always did get defensive about others spoiling me," she commented. She shrugged, "But now I guess that means its my turn to spoil your children. You can thank me later," she joked. She was worried that Natalie's children would one day break an expensive tv or something. But hey, when the day comes, someone pays.
She tried to ignore the divorce part. She didnt want to bring up bad memories for Natalie. Plus her kids were so cute. "Are you taking care of them, yourself?"

"Yeah and I manage. Sometimes its hard to get out though since they're calling your name every few seconds. But I couldn't live without them." She smiled and shook her head. Her kids were her life now. Even if it was hard to get outside and roam most of the time.
"A baby-sitter would be nice though..." She sighed and looked over at Espoir with a small grin. Yes she was implying! She needed a babysitter and fast! And what better vict- person to babysit was then her old friend's daughter. Insert evil laughter.

An anime like sweatdrop appeared behind Espoir's head. Babysitter? She was never good with kids. Natalie was always the one that implied stuff that she wanted others to do for her, but there was no way that Espoir could babysit anyone. "Um... good luck finding one?"

"Oh come on!" She looked critically at Espoir. Her hands were on the counter at the moment staring the young woman down. She knew Espoir wasnt stupid. She needed a babysitter and she was going to get one. "I really REALLY need one. I can't let my kids around some stranger that I don't know. They'll be hurt or something. Plus my kids are good little angels. They won't do anything." ....Much.
"Plus it won't be forever. Its just for me to get out for a while. An hour or two at most. I'll pay and everything. Please! Do it for your mom's friend and the person who spoiled you all those times." Hell yeah she was desperate now. Her kids alone in their apartment was just not going to do.

And the sweatdrop only got larger from there. A nervous smile crossed her face as she took a step back, waving her hands in a "just wait a second" fashion. "But Natalie, Im not good with kids. Do your kids really need a babysitter?" she asked hesitantly. Geez, Natalie was intimidating.

"Yep!" She jumped back clapping her hands together. Perfect. "And don't worry about it. Just give them a TV and your done for the next few hours. They won't give you much trouble." She nodded. Now that she had a babysitter, she could go out and about now. Oh happy days.
"And I thank you for taking on the task of taking care of my kids. I promise they won't be bad at all." She grinned.
[red]"Mom! We're done!"[/red] Kari stated coming up from behind Natalie. She put a small cd on the counter and stood there.
[purple]"Mommy! Mommy! I want this!"[/purple] Trinity shouted and put the DVD on top the counter as well. She bounced happily in excitement for her new movie.
Quickly looking at the covers, she sighed and shrugged. "I guess. Oh yeah and meet your new babysitter girls." Insert another evil laugh just for kicks. Both of them turned to look at Espoir in confusion and curiosity. Babysitter?

"Hold on, I didnt say... oh whatever," she said finally giving up. There probably wasnt any use in arguing with Natalie. She was persistant, even when arguing with her mom. Yes, she remembered.
She picked up the stuff the kids placed on the counter and sighed. A Yutada Hikaru CD and an Ah my Goddess movie? Interesting choices. She scanned them and started typing a few things in the computer before putting the stuff in a bag. She promptly handed the bag to Natalie and sighed. "The stuff wasnt very expensive. I'll just let you have them," yeah she was trying to be nice after having to babysit the girls.
She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote her number and address on it. "And thats for contacting me. Just know, you owe me big for this..."

"You didn't have to do that you know..." She pouted and grabbed the bag. She did feel kind of bad for making Espoir do this. Oh well. Its not like she forced her. Turning to her kids, she gave them a look. "Now what do you say?"
[red]"Thanks."[/red] Kari nodded and began to walk out the store.
[purple]"Thank you Auntie! I can't wait for you to babysit us! Bye!"[/purple] Trinity laughed and followed her sister out the store.
Shaking her head, she grabbed the contact before smiling. "Thanks for doing this. It really means a lot. I'll see you around then." She waved and walked out the store to get her children.

"Auntie... err... how did I get pulled into this?" she complained. She sighed before putting her hands down on the counter, leaning slightly forward. "Oh well..." she murmured. She still had work to do for the store. She wasnt sure if she should expect more people come in or not. Then again, it was electronics.
