"Indeed. It has been quite a long time since we last met. I hope your skills haven't rusted." Fai said jokingly. He too bowed in greeting to Nishasi before turning his attention back to Shizuma. Back in the public... For now at least. At least he was able to see most of his old friends while he was settled down. Now it seemed he felt less inclined to leave.
"I wonder if this time settled down will really be temporary. It seems a lot of old friends are here for good. So what is Mizuki teaching?" Fai asked.

"Not at all, Fai...I'm still as ready as ever to go face to face with any opponent." said Nisashi as he looked at Fai a chuckle in his voice.
Shizuma smiled seeing his Samurai reuniting with old friends. The Six had continued to stay with Shizuma and teach him since they last met and things couldn't be better between them. They were always there for him and of course who could forget the spirit festival they first attended...it was amazing.
"Mizuki-nee will be teaching, History as far as I've heard from her and she's not the only old friend who's a teacher...you may not like to hear this but it seems Linnis is going to be teaching Shadow Science again here at the new academy." said Shizuma as he smiled.

Trance had stayed silent, not bothering to correct Shizuma on the Fitzwallace thing, but she did keep her wedding ring out in plain view.
Then she heard about Mizuki and she was in shock.
Mizuki? After all this time?
She couldn't help but laugh.
"Mizuki. God... Linnis told me about the Shadow Sciences position, but she never told me about Mizuki, or you." She grinned. "And by the way, Shizuma, it's Trance Cascada now. I took Dawn's name, not the other way around." She said as she held up her own wedding ring.

Linnis was here as well? He would be lying if he said that he didn't have some bad memories about her, but he harbored no ill feelings towards anyone from back then. He could really only hope it was the same with the others as well.
"Why would I not like to hear that? It's not like I hate her or something." Fai said, "So Trance, when can you start?"

"Immediately." Trance said as she handed the form back to him with a grin. "And here would be my citizenship, my work visa and my account information." She said as she slipped a neat envelope to him, with photocopies of all of her things. The real ID she carried in her purse.

"Excellent. Let me go to the back and get your work ID and I'll be right back out. Please work the register until I get back." Fai said. He got up from his seat and headed to the back to get Trance's work ID and her paperwork filed away. It looked like a lot of his old friends and teachers were gathering here again. He didn't know whether to find it strange or nice or both. At least they didn't hate him or anything for disappearing.

She went around to the back and took a quick look at the register. It was the same model that had been in the Kame and Duke stores. She smiled a bit. At least she wouldn't need training. She looked over at Shizuma with a grin.
"So, what can I get you today?" She asked as a bit of a joke.

"I'm not sure what you could get me to day, Mrs. Cascada." said Shizuma as he looked around. "Besides perhaps some time to catch up with an old friend. So how has life been treating you, Trance...it's been so long."
Shizuma waved as Fai left as he turned his attention to Trance. Shizuma and Nisashi both bowed in greeting to trance before awaiting Trance's answer.

Trance laughed. "I just finished explaining this to Ma- Fai." Trance caught herself. Fai was his real name... but she was so used to Matt. "I'm married to Dawn, as you know, and we've got a boy up at the academy named Syaoran... looks just like Dawn, scarily enough, and he's adopted." Trance looked confused. Then she laughed. "How about you? Any kids?"
