Age: Sixteen! ... and a half.
Gender: Male
Appearance:
[x]Personality:
Soran definitely has a unique, look, with his blond messy hair, thick glasses, and headphones always at his neck. His skin has the color of thin milk, and his body is thin, though obviously not the most muscular thing on Earth.
He tends to wear his uniform's blazer opened, with some sort of t-shirt advertising either a band or a nerd-related subject on it. The one thing he always carries around, no matter whther outside of school or in, is his deck, which he's created a container for very reminiscent of a gun holster. His height is pretty average, being at 5' 9", and while not short, not exactly tall either.
While outside of school, he tends to dress as casual as a normal teenager would, with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and, with the right weather, a hoodie.
Soran is an incredibly energetic and nerdy person, having a love for anime, manga, comics, and video games. In fact, it's rare to see him without one of those things. Second to his love of nerdery is his interest in magic, the occult, and generally the abnormal, which is what got him into the game of Duel Monsters in the first place; the desire to do something out of the ordinary, and to find things out of the ordinary. Third, behind all of those, is his love of music, which tends to focus mainly around rock.History:
Soran is energetic, certainly, as he seems to rarely run out of steam or energy. He's very hot-blooded and full of passion, and, along with many students, love dueling. He's constantly trying to make his abilities better and is always trying to make great new decks; some could even say it's his specialty. Still, an interesting personality quirk is that whenever he's in a serious or tense moment, he takes his glasses off.
Soran tends to shy away from people, often deciding to work wtihin his own bubble. Though, Soran can usually get over his shyness after spending a little time with people. Soran's greatest weakness? Well, he's far too decisive, sometimes making decisions without thought, which definitely doesn't make a great duelist, and he can often be brutally honest.
Evert has a particular interest in the SID, where he wishes to go when he graduates San Melina Academy, and is currently trying to get an internship there.
Born in New England, Evert had the normal life of a middle class child, though he was far more imaginative than most children, wrapped up in his own little world by the age of four. Still, his parents discouraged this, worried that their child was far too wrapped up in his fantasies at a young age, and tried to discourage this. However, at the age of five, with the news and information behind the Seal of Orichalcos incident, there was no way that Soran could be stamped out of his dreams; he decided right then and there that he would become a Duel Monsters champion and have plenty of adventures that he could only dream of.Status: Fourth Year Student
Growing up, he learned and played Duel Monsters, all the time, his parents, after seeing the incident and researching the large amount of business involved in one little card game, decided to encourage this. Playing in small, open tournaments, Soran found that he had become a rather good duelist compared to those of his age group, and was given information about San Melina Academy; an entire academy build upon this single game. Soran gratefully accepted the information, and in perfect, yet unfortunate, timing, his grandfather died, leaving enough money to travel and attend San Melina Academy for the next five years.
Soran, however, even in his first three years, hasn't found any sort of amazing adventures in San Melina Academy. Sure, it is fun, but there isn't anything supernatural or abnormally amazing about all of it! Well, perhaps that'll change in his fourth term...
