Personality:
Yukiko always wears a red light sweater over her uniform, it's color having to do with a dear friend back home once telling her she looks good in red. She is often seen wearing thin-rimmed glasses with a slight reddish tint to the lenses, despite having no problem with her vision. Her reason for wearing them is known only by a handful of people, all of which also wear glasses. Yukiko is also known to carry a fan with her, which she has nicknamed 'Amagyou'. The fan bears the picture of a Priestess with the roman numerals II when unfolded.
Yukiko is a kind-hearted person and always willing to spare a moment to listen to the words of others. In addition to that she is also highly intelligent and has virtually no temper, regardless of how rude someone may be she refuses to give into emotions such as anger. These traits carry over into when she duels, however rarely she does anymore. As Dean of the academy she is very benevolent and takes all suggestions and requests seriously, although she isn't afraid to refuse them if she deems the idea impossible to do for whatever reason.History:
Yukiko was born into a small rural town in the deep countryside of Japan, into a wealthy family that ran the local Inn that had become a famous landmark in the area. Despite all this, she chose to attend regular schools rather then being sent to private schools as she didn't want special treatment. Her peers sometimes chided her for her decision, saying she only did it to hang around 'poor' kids, but others saw it as admirable.Status: Academy Dean
During her middle school years, she became intrested in the game of Duel Monsters and quickly became among the top players in her region. Although she enjoyed the game as much as she did, it never interefered with her studies and she eventually graduated both middle and high school with top marks. After graduation she wanted to become a teacher, but wanted to pay for everything on her own, again to prove she wasn't another trust-fund child, so she entered the Pro Leagues and saved up all her winnings. After two years of being in the Pro League, she retired, despite protests from her manager, and enrolled in a university to get her teaching degree using the money she had saved up over the years.
After she completed her teaching courses with high marks once again she returned to her hometown to teach the local high school there, and where she remained for five years. One day, a few weeks before her 26th birthday, she was contacted with a job offer to become the dean of a Duel Academy in America. While she hesitated to leave her hometown for a second time, her friends and family once again convinced her to go out into the world and help others. Wanting to make them proud, she accepted the job and moved to San Melina.
