Personality:

The most obvious and defining feature about Issy’s personality is that she struggles to be able to keep her mind on any one given objective for a prolonged period of time, or generally anything after about five minutes. Upon this point generally anything is capable of distracting her, and pulling Issy’s mind onto something which she wasn’t thinking about. Mostly this is capable of happening earlier as well, if something else occurs which is able to provide a strong enough pull away from the previous task which Issy was trying to concentrate on.

Even at the worst of times Issy tends to have quite a positive outlook onto life, even if she does worry about quite a few things. Mostly she is likely to panic when she doesn’t need to, or when something happens which is capable of even slightly shocking her. Upon these points, the most likely thing which she will do is roll into a ball and hide someplace, like you might expect someone of a younger age to.

Additionally, Issy is fairly reliant on others for support in helped her to get things done, or to be able to do just about anything. She isn’t the brightest person of her age, and by quite a long shot, so she needs help with just about anything regarding her work.

History:

As a young child, Issy was a fairly happy one, taking interest in lots of things; for a short while, then getting distracted by something else. She didn’t mind this much, and didn’t know any better and if she ever actually tried to look into it too much, she ended up forgetting quite quickly and moving onto something altogether different. When she was sent to school, she got into a lot of trouble for not being able to concentrate, or doing that much work compared to anyone else in her class. There where the few rare occasions where she concentrated from long enough, and in all of those times it was shown that she was quite clever and capable of getting correct answers to most things, but with such a short attention span, Issy was never able to take complete advantage of it.

Dismayed at how their youngest child was coping, Issy’s parents decided to find something which would be able to keep her attention for a long enough time: duel monsters. Issy showed a natural interest in playing the game which may have had something to do with the pictures and constant change, which prevented her for ever looking elsewhere, and once she was old enough, her parents sent her off to duel academy, in hope that she would be able to cope better there that she had managed to anywhere else. Issy was more than happy to go as well, though had never herself known about the place, due to lack of knowledge more than anything else.
