Kayla went to the fields. She put her bag down on the ground and sat down beside it. She hugged her white cat back and buried her face into the bag as she waited for Sy to join her.

Syaoran ran the length towards the fields the entire way. And so the young man was out of breath once he got to Kayla's side and collapsed backwards into the grass beside her.
"Kay..." He huffed as he looked up at the fluffy clouds above him. He looked over at Kayla with a bit of a scared look in his eye.
"If I don't come to school in the next couple of weeks... it means a Takasei hitman came and took me out and I want you to tell Dawn and Trance I love them." Syaoran said to start it off. Yes, he knew that Kayla wouldn't know what the hell he was talking about but he didn't care. He needed to get that out.

"Assuming they don't hate me too..." She muttered before looking at him with red eyes from crying. "Why wouldn't you be here?"

"Um... well..." Syaoran sat up. "Noss is rebounding... in a straight type manner. And I'm the lucky guy." Syaoran shook his head. "I'd like to enjoy it... Noss is really beautiful but I never really thought of her as a dating subject, because of her obvious homosexuality... but I won't say that sometimes I wonder for some of you whether I love you as a brother or something more... but I'm scared shitless of Aunt Linnis. She's going to kill me. Either that or castrate me. I'm not sure which." Syaoran shook his head and looked at Kayla.
"Besides... Kay... something's wrong with Noss. I've got a bad feeling. She did something... odd the other day."

Alicia approached slowly, her jacket caught in the breeze. Her hair was tossed lightly too, but it retained it's shape.
"What happened to sis?"

"She..." He sighed and looked to the side, trying to find the words.
"You know how Aunt Linnis kept talking about that one woman she once knew, the one with the Yami Spirit who was violent and insane, and how the woman managed to separate herself from the Yami?" Syaoran asked. "Well... Noss... is almost acting as if she's got someone living in her... I'm scared for her." He said as he frowned at the ground. "She was talking to me like I was... I don't know... an inferior being or something, and then she went into a fit on the beach... then she ended up kissing me afterwards..." He shook his head. "She's... going nuts Kay."
Then he jumped after he had said all that. "Alicia!" He said in surprise. And she had heard everything... oh no.

Kayla didn't look at Alicia but listened to Syaoran. "This is my fault... I made her have a melt down..."

"No... no I don't think so. I get the feeling that... it's something else." His eyes flickered from Alicia to Kayla in nervousness, but the rest of his face had that neutral mask he always had on. But... Alicia knew, he had let the cat out of the bag, so he'd have to pay up for it, and he might as well say everything. Lucia's girlfriend was a bit scary sometimes.

She walked up slowly and closed her eyes in thought. She was so close to the Takasei family, she was practically one of them, but on the other hand, there were issues that only the family could handle.

"I-" He squeezed his eyes shut. Syaoran Cascada had never truly felt helpless in his life, but he felt that now, and he couldn't stand it. He honestly couldn't stand it. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
"I don't know. I honestly don't know. I don't want her to be... if she is..." He shook his head.

Kayla looked at him and felt her heart break. She hugged him. "I'm sorry... this is my fault... I wish I could help but I don't know how..." She felt herself starting to cry.

Syaoran put one arm around Kayla and looked at Alicia.
"But... how? We don't know the first thing about Yami Spirits. I mean, I suppose I could ask either of my mothers about them... but that's about it. We don't even know where to start. Noss doesn't even seem to know that the presence is there... not to mention can you imagine how angry Linnis and Setsuna would be if we didn't tell them that their kid was going through a mental phase of evil?" Syaoran asked.

Kayla released him and rubbed her eyes. "If Mom hadn't swore not to use her items ever again, I would ask her to help..." She looked at Alicia now, wondering if she still hated her.

Alicia frowned at Kayla, wanting to say some pretty hurtful things but staying her tongue.
"Look, whatever's out there isn't Noss. We are probably going to have to hurt her, and fairly bad, I'd figure. We can't feel bad about it."

"Oh yeah. Easy for you to say." Syaoran muttered darkly. He looked down at the ground. She wasn't the one kissing her good-night every night. No. She was kissing her sister good-night, and good morning too. And if it were Lucia... she'd likely have just a touch more regret.
