Isaac looked over at Noss and allowed Kayla to break away. Bad timing to come to the lighthouse it seemed, but it seemed Noss was taking it hard. He lowered his head and allowed his hair to cover his eyes again and allowed his arms to hand by his sides. He didn't know if he had gotten in over his head here or not, but what would happen now?
"Kayla... I don't know what to say... What will you do now?" he asked, referring to Noss.

Kayla stood there in silence for a moment and slowly brought her hands to her the base of her neck. She couldn't stop the crying now. She was shaking softly. "I-I'm not... going to do... anything..." She managed. "She doesn't want... to see me... at all anymore... I won't break her... wish..." She was trying so hard not to cry. She just lost her best friend. Her child hood friend. Her sister figure. She put her hands over her face to try to will the tears away but the darkness only seemed to make them come stronger.

Isaac walked up to Kayla and looked are her hands covering her face. He looked at her covered face and shook his head. He felt bad for putting her into this situation in the first place. He remembered when it felt like to lose close friends.
"Is there anything I can do to make this easier on you?" Isaac asked.

She nodded and hugged him. She buried her face in his chest. "Hold me until I can calm down... If I keep going like this, I'm going to pass out again."

Isaac wrapped his arms around her in a hug. He didn't want her passing out a second time. He held her close so that she would feel comfortable. He didn't like seeing her in such a state, and ould rather see he calm and happy.
"Kayla. Thank you." Isaac said. She had shown him kindness he hadn't experienced in a long time, and he was glad she had.

She held to him slightly tighter but didn't say anything. For a moment, she didn't say anything until her shaking stopped. She looked up at him, and she felt her tears stopping. She stood up on her toes and gently kissed him.

Isaac returned the kiss with his own. He finally understood what he was feeling. It was love, something he had not felt for the longest time. He held her tight and closed his eyes with the kiss. With Kayla calming down, he wipes some of the tears from her face and smiled softly. He too stayed silent as well, enjoying the time together with Kayla.

She returned the smile with one as well; a mixture of sorrow and joy. She would miss Noss; she'd miss her a lot. What she had here, though, was something that was helping her. "Thank you." She said softly.

Isaac looked into Kayla's eyes, a beautiful sight to him. The mix of joy and sorrow he saw on her face caught his attention. She was probably thinking of Noss.
"You're welcome. I'm glad I could help." Isaac said.

His smiled widened a bit when she genuinely smiled. Her real beauty was showing through that smile.
"Well, I'd like to think we would go forward with our relationship." Isaac said.

She blushed and look down for a moment to try to control it. Giving up, she looked up through her eyelashes. "I'd like that..." she said softly.

"As would I." Isaac said. His blush came back as well when she looked at him, but he didn't try and control it. He already knew he couldn't hold it back at this point. He kept his gaze on her eyes and had much fun.
"Well, shall we head back to the school? Classes are going to start in a few minutes." Isaac said.

She nodded as her blush grew greatly. "Wouldn't be smart to be late for class..." She turned to leave but paused. She looked back at him and held out her hand. She gave him a soft smile.

Isaac took her hand and followed her, smiling as well. This day had turned out much better than he expected it to when he woke up.
"So I guess I'll see you after school." he said referring to their plans in the courtyard.

Kayla nodded. "In the courtyard." She gave him a small smile as they walked. She could do this... she knew she could... maybe..."
