Kayla looked up at Syaoran. "Syaoran... Yes, I'm fine." She got up and brushed herself off. "He didn't do anything wrong..."

Isaac got up turned away from the two. He needed time to think about how to mend the upcoming situation. He guessed the new guy was one of her friends, Syaoran.
"My apologies for what happened Kayla." he said. He began walking away from the two, buttoning up his coat as he went.

"Why would that be your automatic response if I didn't ask it?" Syaoran said quietly, a dark tone in his voice. His eyes trailed over to Isaac and he looked in between the two. Truly it wasn't his fault, but from what he had seen, he had seen Kayla talking about fainting and Isaac saying that he shouldn't have done what he did. And since Richard wasn't here...
Well... Richard wouldn't forgive him for not intervening.
However, he would wait for the boy's response, before he started pointing fingers.
Then the boy started walking away and he frowned even deeper.
He looked at Kayla. "Nothing happened, huh?"

Kayla's hand went out to Isaac. "Syaoran, I will say this: Richard would be happy with what happened. Please, take the anger from your voice..." She looked at him with hurt, lost eyes. She was basically asking him for help but not the help he seemed to be offering.
"Isaac, please don't go."

He looked over Kayla quietly, his mask still up. Richard would be happy with seeing his little sister out cold, eh? Richard was a blunt man, but he wasn't quite that heartless, or at least Syaoran thought.
He could tell that Kayla wanted to ask for help about something though... but what? And how would he be able to ask her in private?
How would he even communicate to her that he wanted to speak with her privately?
He looked towards Isaac quietly, his face back to the 'blank' mask. No emotion was on it, and it was hard to read what he was thinking.

Isaac stopped where he was, which was a couple meters away. He turned around and looked at Kayla and Syaoran. He wanted nothing more to stay with her, but it seemed the longer he stayed the more angry Syaoran was likely to get. His eyes were hidden behind his brown hair as he looked at both of them. He stayed rooted in his spot.
"I'll leave that up to Syaoran." Isaac said. He didn't want to stay and have Syaoran become hostile, either with blows or words.

She looked from one to the other then sighed. "Wait a moment for me?" She asked him then looked at her dear friend Sy. "I'll be along in a minute..."

"By all means, do stay. I'd like to figure out why a girl that's pretty much a sister to me was fainted, and you could bring some enlightenment to the situation because Kay's not fessing up." The sixteen year old replied in a civilized tone, his blue eyes almost seeming to examine Isaac. "Could you tell me perhaps what happened to Kay?"

"We were talking. As we got deeper into conversation, I kissed her and she fainted. Afterwards, I laid her down at the base of the lighthouse and waited for her to wake up. That's when you came. Satisfied?" Isaac said. He kept his eyes hidden from their view as he watched them. He began to walk back towards the slowly and cautiously, though his hands stayed in his pockets.

Kayla nodded to verify what Isaac said. "It's true. Sy, please..." She looked at Isaac. "Please..." She felt tears coming as she started to get stressed out.

"I don't doubt it." Syaoran said quietly. He sighed and waved one hand.
"I suppose I'm glad that I'm not the one who has to deal with Noss. I'll leave that to you two." He said with a wave of his hand as he started to walk away.

Isaac walked back over to Kayla. He'd ask about who Noss was, but he didn't want to see Kayla cry because of what he did. He put his hands on her shoulders and looked at her with a comforting look on his face.
"Is there anything you want to do to calm yourself down?" Isaac asked.

She swallowed and looked down. "Noss is my friend from when I was a kid... she said she was in love with me and I thought I was with her..." She felt the tears coming. "Her and I went to the club opening that was yesterday and I told her I didn't know about that... " She felt herself taking a step back, getting ready for yelling. "Now I don't think it's what she hoped it was..."

Isaac brought Kayla into a hug. He didn't know what else to do at this point but try and comfort her. He wished he could take all of her pain away so she didn't have to suffer.
"I'm sorry I put you into this situation. Feel free to let out all of your frustration. I'll listen to what you have to say." he said.

He was the first guy to kiss her? He was surprised. He found her the most beautiful girl he had seen. He smiled as he embraced her. He still had the blush and the smile from the kiss.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Are you ok?" Isaac asked. His voice reflected his worry for her.

She shook her head. "I'm dreading having to let Noss down... she's been my friend sense I was four..." She looked at him with a small smile. "But... I'll be ok..." Hopefully.

"Oh, she'll take solice in the fact that she was right, I'm sure."
Noss walked around from the other side of the lighthouse.
"That she saw this coming, and isn't at all surprised you got her hopes up and broke her heart. So, she'll be fine. She told you so many times this would happen, and just wishes you'd believed her, I'm sure."
Noss had been there looking out over the bluffs from the lighthouse, and had eavesdropped on the entire event from Isaac and Kayla's arrival.
"She will, however, not want to see you anymore, I'd wager."
