Syaoran's hand twitched to go to his deck but he didn't do it. Instead he smiled and waved one hand.
"I end. Do it Kay. Say End, and I'm done for." He said encouragingly to the girl he called the sister he didn't have.

The last explosion of Solar Flare Dragon's abilities went off, and Syaoran's life went to 0. The holograms faded and he took out the deck, slipped it into his deck case and went over to Kayla. Instead of shaking her hand he gave her a great big hug.
"Good job Kay. I'm proud of you, and Richard would be too." He said quietly.

"I know so hun." Syaoran said, as he pulled back and patted her cheek fondly. "Go tell Professor Matsuna you won. He'll love to see the results of your abilities."

Shizuma was one step ahead of the pair as he approached as the duel ended. Zanji had signaled to him that the duel was over and was already giving him details to comment on. The Samurai were to be commended for watching the duels for him while he had to move around the room.
"Okay, Sayoran, Kayla. I have to tell you both that you played a great game, however the deck match up put Sayoran at a big disadvantage from the start. Yubel Decks require a good amount of cards to be played in order to work and also Stall a good deal before unleashing the true power of it and Kayla's deck was made to punish people for playing a lot of cards. The combination of her two Chain Energies and Two Solar Flare Dragons make for a devastating burn combination and with Gravity Bind she pretty much took Sayoran's options down to nothing. Sayoran, if you had the methods to come out and attack Kayla you should have done so at the beginning when there was only one Chain Energy to deal with. 500 LP per card while costly in the long run is cheap compared to paying 1000 per. Kayla you played your strategy to perfection and made a good example of the theory of Giving Life Points to take Life Points. You two have great potential and I look forward to working with you two in this class. Now, you two gather your things and you are free to go. Oh and tell, your Parents I said Hi." said Shizuma as he looked at the kids of his old friends.

"Daijoubu (It's okay), Kayla-san. And since you two are the kids of my old friends, you two can call me Shizuma if that will make things more smoother in this class for you two." said Shizuma as he bowed back smiling.
"Those kids have great potential...I'm sure you'll have fun dueling them when it comes to it Shizuma." said Zanji as he looked at his partner.
'Indeed, Zanji...these two can go far.'
