Piper, dressed in her own special individualistic - overly so - unifrom, walked in and immediately gave Hiro a significant and disapproving look. "Don't pick on Kayla. She could smack you silly." She smiled a little at how she phrased it. And, at that, she tossed her bags on her desk and bowed to dawn.
"Pleased to see you, Professor Cascada," she said with a huge grin. Piper Harada was a very nonchalant person, but she knew when suckupage was appropriate and when it wasn't.

Kayla put her fists up to her face to cover her mouth. "P-Piper, I don't have the heart to hit someone, you know that...." She sniffled, still feeling the tears.

She looked to Kayla with a frown and then back to Hiro, "Fine, then I'll do it. As for YOU!" She spun in her seat and pointed an accusatory finger at her sister, "I know where you live, little sis, you better be nice."

Hiro had slipped his fingers along his hands bridging them once again as he leaned forward and coveted his mouth. “Dodged that bullet…” he had mumbled lowly since he wasn’t one to talk a lot, and the little words he did say got him in quite a pickle. At least this time he slipped through the cracks, but the real bullet would be the missile which was today’s lesson. If only there was a good enough excuse he could leave the class and perhaps go stand somewhere near the ocean, or perhaps somewhere on the school building roof tops.

"Hey! I was being nice! What the hell is wrong with pumpkins? You're all freakin' pumpkinists!" Brandy snapped. Then she looked at Hiro.
"Dodged the bullet my ass!" She said, cracking her knuckles as she did so.

Syaoran sighed in exhasperation and he went to sit beside Kayla.
"Kayla, you're perfectly fine. The orange brings out your eyes. You look very nice." Syaoran knew about Kayla's preferences, but he felt the need to comfort her anyway. "Hiro is just being immature... and Brandy's rising up to his level." He heard a yell of protest from Brandy but Syaoran continued. "Now, my dear, do try to ignore them all. Perhaps just have a nice talk with Noss. I'll handle everything." He said the last part with a charming smile, then got up from his seat and gave a dirty look to Hiro.
"Please refrain from polluting the air with needless words. It's unbecoming." Syaoran said as he took his seat once again.

Kayla was starting to blush from all the attention. "O-Ok..." She look at Noss and the blush grew.

At 'have a nice talk with Noss', she simply responded. "Damn skippy."

"Would you rather do something else, Noss?" Syaoran leaned back in his chair suavely, and he looked over at Noss with a wink. "I'm sure that will have to wait until after class."

Kayla laughed a bit. She liked Syaoran. He reminded her of Richard.

Syaoran may not have talked much with anyone, but he had a fond, brother-like relationship with three families- the Lantashes, the Haradas and the Takaseis. He was the eldest out of all of them, except for Richard, but while Richard was out at college, Syaoran had to look after their girls. That was what the girls were called. His and Richard's girls. Even though Syaoran was slightly more protective with them then Richard.
He smiled at Kayla's laugh and waited for his mother to start class, or Hiro to come back with a 'smart' retort.

Hiro had simply glanced towards Syaoran as he didn’t feel like retaliating towards his comment. Even if he was only kidding about the pumpkin comment, it wasn’t that serious of an issue. It was sometimes interesting how people would like the pricks of the smallest cut run deep. They made slashes from paper cuts and were overly sensitive. He had learned to take those kind of jabs rather joking or not. To him, Syaoran only seemed like he was more liable to put an act in front of his mother.
“Hmm…” The thought of it made Hiro give a smile that he hid with his bridged fingers as he leaned forward with his elbows on the desk. He could tell maybe this class was going to be slightly interesting, and it wasn’t because of the lesson.

"If all that's settled," Dawn said calmly. She wasn't going to handle this. She wasn't going to devote class time to solving these problems. They'd od it on their own. "Class, name one of the sets developed right here in San Melina?"

Alicia spoke as she walked in and found a seat. "How about Time of Fate? Knight's Revolution? the structure deck Gift of Otome? The illustrious San Melina Series."

Hiro had let his eyes shift to one corner as he had glanced towards the new figure. Making an assumption it was either she was going to be a weird catch like the rest of the students or perhaps being so quiet that he wouldn’t notice her and that’s a headache off his hands, but seeing she had acted so fast into answer the question, it looks like she was most likely to be apart of the crowd that would just try to get their lesson. The worse she could do is not let him sleep. He couldn’t stand this school year already.

There was a knock on the door before it opened, revealing a cute red-headed girl with a messenger-type bag slung over her left shoulder.
"Sorry if I'm late, there as some...paperwork, I had to fill out" She seemed hesitant as to her explanation, but she seemed honest enough. She sat down and got out a notebook, waiting to take notes.

Tamba walked into his second class for the day, mainly because he hadn't been able to find the other classrooms. Once again he walked in quietly and bowed to the teacher respectfully, "Tamba Swuni-Hazror. Sorry If I'm late." The quiet foriegn boy once again took a seat on his won and waited for the class to begin. He doubted he would learn anything Alex hadn't already taught him but Alex had reminded Tamba that he was only 12 and that he still had a lot more to learn, he would go to classes but only if Alex said so.
