(Whenever you want to start it, here it is =D ) Kayla had run home after school as quick as she could and changed out of her school uniform and into something she was more comfortable with. She had her mom's deck and a small shoulder bag that had some of her own cards in them. She looked around for Isaac and sat down on the grass. She put her bag down and started to look through her deck. She had called her Mom on the way home and asked her to get the shoulder bag ready for her. She wasn't surprised to see the snacks in there.

Isaac walked into the courtyard, still wearing his school uniform. His duel disk was on his arm with his deck inside since he just got out of dueling class. He looked scanned the courtyard with calm eyes that hid his eager attitude. When he spotted Kayla, he smiled and hurried to her.
"Hey Kayla. How was your day?" Isaac asked.

Kayla looked up at him and smiled. "Hi Isaac!" She got up and gave him a kiss. "My day was good. Yours?"

He kissed Kayla when she kissed him. His heart leapt every time they kissed, which made him smile. It was a good feeling to love someone.
"That's good to hear. I had a good day as well. Let's find a good place and begin." Isaac said.

Kayla nodded and sat back down. "I went home and got some more of my cards, but I don't know if they're good or not. Oh! And I brought snacks." She blushed as she smiled at him.
(NOTE: Those extra cards are the Duel Side Set-->< hold off on them until they're approved.)

Isaac sat down as Kayla did. He was still thinking of where to start when Kayla spoke. She had brought snack for the both of them? He blushed at the kindness.
"Th-Thanks. I guess we'll have them later. So, where do you want to start with these lessons?" he said.

Isaac looked through the deck a few times. He had a lot of changes he would make to it, and he hoped it would make it much better than it already was. He hoped Kayla would like it as well. As he looked through the deck, he wrote down a suggestions and cards that would likely improve the decks.
"Here, try this deck and see if it works out. It uses the Blaze Accelerators and Volcanic monsters to empty your opponent's field so you can attack or burn them at your will. Some negation in there to protect your Blaze Accelerators as well. Isaac said as he handed her both the deck and the new deck list he was suggesting.
Monsters 20 3x Volcanic Scattershot 3x Volcanic Shell 3x Volcanic Rocket 2x Volcanic Counter 2x Solar Flare Dragon 2x UFO Turtle 2x Volcanic Slicer 2x Barrier Statue of the Inferno 1x Sangan
Spells 11 3x Blaze Accelerator 2x Tri-Blaze Accelerator 2x Dark Snake Syndrome 1x Brain Control 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Premature Burial
Traps 9 3x Backfire 3x Solemn Judgment 1x Torrential Tribute 1x Mirror Force 1x Transmigration Policy

(ACK RED!)
Kayla looked at the list, nodding. "Makes sense. I'll have to take it to my Mom and see if she'll help me find the cards." She smiled at him. "Thank you."

((A fitting color for a Volcanic Burn, ^_^))
"Anything to help you." Isaac said. He sat cross legged and looked at Kayla. Now what? She had the deck list, now what else was there to teach for a first lesson...? He thought for a moment. He couldn't think of anything.

(True... but still: ACK RED)
She blushed and looked at the cards with a small smile. "My family is having a mini-festival on July 7th... do you want to come?"

A mini-festival... Isaac had never really liked going to festivals of any kind, but this was different. He had someone he cared about to go with.
"Sure, I'll go. Thanks for inviting me." Isaac said.

Kayla blushed more and smiled brightly. "You're welcome. Thank you for going."

"You're welcome. So, what is this festival about?" Isaac said with a smile as well. He was curious about the festival. If he was going to attend, he wanted to know what it was about so he was ignorant or something.

Kayla smiled at him. "It's called Tanabata! It originated from a Chinese folk legend concerning two stars-the Weaver Star--Vega--and the Cowherd Star--Altair--who were said to be lovers who could meet only once a year on the 7th night of the 7th month provided it didn't rain and flood the Milky Way. It was named Tanabata after a weaving maiden from a Japanese legend who was believed to make clothes for the gods. People often write wishes and romantic aspirations on long, narrow strips of colored paper and hang them on bamboo branches along with other small ornaments. My Mom has been celebrating it with everyone since I was six." She blushed when she finished.

So basically a festival based on love. It was a good opportunity to spend time with Kayla and to meet her family. He looked at her ad smiled, blushing from the thought of just the two of them at the festival.
"Sounds fitting for our relationship. Is there anything special I should wear?" Isaac said.

"Well, Mom keeps tradition in the family and we wear kimono's--well, my Mom and I that is--but you can wear whatever you want. We'll be having fireworks, wish doll burnings, wish boats, a song," here she blushed, "and lots of decorations. I believe we're holding it at the park..."

"I see. I still want to dress nice though, so I guess I'll have to go buy some clothes suited for this kind of festival." Isaac said. He would feel odd if he was the only one there wearing casual clothes. Well, he knew a good shop that was hopefully still open. He scratched the back of his head and ran his hand through his hair.
"Shall we wait until you have your deck is remodeled before we move onto to proper strategy with it?" Isaac asked.

"If you want. I have to go talk to my Mom before I can remodel it. I don't have all the cards with me." She blushed softly.

"I think it would be best to get your deck remodeled before we move on to strategies concerning the deck type. Let me just say this though. Volcanic decks are mainly used to empty your opponent's field and controlling what they have on the field. Not many are made for actually attacking." Isaac said. Was there anything else he was forgetting? He wasn't used to teaching someone how to duel, or had he ever cared to in the past until now. He closed his eyes to think of what else he could teach her before he ended the lesson, but couldn't think of anything.
