Licht-Van cleaned the hallways after school let out. In her maid outfit, she was currently mopping the floors. This was her last task of the day before she could go home for a while. But later she'd have to return to clean so that the school would be spotless for the arrival of students.

Noss leaned against the wall of the corridors, wearing something far skimpier than the average uniform. Or maid costume, for that matter. Simply put, Noss' outfit left little to the imagination. She laughed, fairly loudly, and looked at the janitor. "Cleaning up after them? Don't suppose you can get that stink of humanity out of this place." She stood up, still laughing. "Why would one want such a job? It's a meaningless occupation, for meaningless people."

"I have taken the job because it is the job that was available." Licht-Van looked at the girl. "Hello..." She knew the girl but had never met her before.

She laughed. "I suppose it's fitting. After all, humanity is a compost heap. Decaying, rotting filth. Organic matter, meaningless in it's existence."

Licht-Van didn't say anything at first. "Not all are such; they can be quit useful." She put the mop up.
