"I've been looking for someone to occupy my time."
She smiled and looked down at her hands which fiddled a bit.
"I've always worked. When I was young, I had to support my sisters, so my life became work... even living in the lap of luxury thanks to Ardrea wasn't good enough. I had to come here. Working is all I've ever known. I want someone to be with, though. I no longer have my sisters, and they filled a void in my life I didn't know was there."

"Well..." Juliet looked at Ede and then she shrugged. "How about a buddy to hit the clubs with? It doesn't seem your style but I'm sure you could pick up someone at that predominantly gay club downtown, and I wouldn't mind getting out and having fun every once in a while. Most of the time I'm either working with Will, fighting with Will, or repairing the relationship between Shizuma's son and I. Getting out drinking sounds really good at the moment." She shrugged. "Or we can go somewhere else, doesn't matter."

"I'm deeply depressed, my building fell over, my employees dislike me and I've been shot. I really like the idea of getting drunk."
Edea laughed and that led to coughing. Her lung was still week and she was working herself a little hard.
"I'd ask my doctor fro a shot of something right now but I doubt she'd do it. Mind you, she doesn't like me either, I don't think."

"I don't offer to go out drinking with people I don't like. I'm too afraid of getting advantage taken of me while I'm drunk. Though technically I'd be designated driver so... still. Don't go out drinking with people I don't like." Juliet stated. Then she shook her head.
"You don't think anyone likes you, do you? I doubt Doctor Patean really has an opinion." It was the head doctor who had taken over Ede Reyes. "She's cold with me too, the only one she actually has a heart for is that Gemini girl that comes in every so often."

"Emrys? She stresses herself out beyond belief and usually I have to pick her up off the floor after she nearly passes out. That and she practically yells at you to stay in bed if you move a muscle. I'm not so sure about her bedside manner but if you want, I can ask her to add you to her list of patients. One more will send her over the brink of madness, but hey, that might just be a bonus." She said with a wicked grin. "Mad scientist Doctor Wylt. Now there's a thing that Merlin would be proud of."

"Maybe Emrys just seemed nice because of how high the morphine drip made me."
Edea laughed and looked down at her body. She remembered the feeling of hot, burning metal tearing through her and it wasn't pleasant.
"Don't take Matsuna for granted. I'm alone, and hae my life. I'm not saying the two are correlated, but they fit pretty well together."

"Y'know... sex isn't the end all of life. Sometimes you just need someone to extend a hand of friendship." It was what she was trying to do, though she was usually bad at it because of her impulsive behaviour. She couldn't help it.
"I don't plan to take him for granted though. I do plan, however, to tell him when he's being a moron... which is a lot lately." She looked to the side and grumbled. "But enough on that. When you get out of here, you're getting out of the office and you're having some fun."

Ede said half-jokingly. She wasn't looking forward to much of anything at the moment, but she didn't hate the idea of not spending her entire day alone.
"And it's about the love, not the sex. Pervert."
Something occurred to Edea though, a new concern, work-related naturally.
"The office I've been working out of at the Academy, I have a lock box there. It must be protected. If my shooting was an attempt to steal something more than my awesome coat, it is certainly Project Archangel."

Juliet bit her tongue really, really hard at the 'awesome coat' comment. And take her out shopping. That was going to be another thing that they did. They were going to go shopping and she was going to learn that that awesome coat was not so awesome.
"I know it's about more then love, I'm just saying that life isn't all about sex is all-" She stopped for a moment and then she sighed.
"Work. Off it Ede. I'll take care of things, or that new girl who transfered in can. Yukiko I think her name was. According to her file she's working with you on the duel bike project." She commented.
