She was happy to be here. More than anything, though, she was happy to be holding what she was holding. The Library on campus now carried a copy of Linnis' doctoral thesis.
"'A Study on the Long Term Effects of Abyssal Magic on a Human Individual; A Case Study on Setesh and Yuto Vynix', by Linnis Takasei, Ph.D."
She put it on the shelf with a smile.
"I rock."

"Perhaps for making the study, but you've got more guts then me. I would never want to touch that stuff. Too close to the heart."
A familiar face had violet eyes and grey-violet hair that fell so long, it was hard to believe that the girl used to prefer her hair short and boyish. Spectacles adorned her face and they were on the end of her nose, which gave her the look of a sexy librarian.
Mizuki Haruka wasn't going for that. Far from it. She just hadn't bothered to get out to a hairdresser for a long while.
"It's good to see you again Linnis." Mizuki said with a shining smile as she held the books in her arms that she was about to take a look at for her first class.

She smiled and walked over. Handshake or hug was a hard choice, but Linnis opted for the latter. She had grown to think of the Abjects as an extended family, so it seemed appropriate.
"Doctor Takasei sounded too good to pass up."

Mizuki hugged her back warmly. They weren't as close as Trance and Linnis, but Mizuki still thought of her old teacher and leader as a good friend.
"I can imagine." She pretended to think for a moment. "I wonder what Doctor Haruka would sound like. I could do a study of the raw effects of the Shadow Realm without something to filter it..." Of course she was referring to herself and Kamuro Umbra. She laughed and shook it off. "Actually, come to think of it, I'd rather not go down that road again."

"I don't know. Professor Seraph runs the post-graduate program at Cairo University."
Linnis shrugged and said the next part with a bit of detest.
"Along with his wife Amunet, who teaches Shadow Studies there."
Linnis didn't like divorce as a rule, and remarrying was something she strongly frowned upon.

Mizuki blinked a bit. Koji Seraph? They hadn't really met, but because of his disappearances, in a way, he was the reason why she was who she was today. Interesting how that sort of thing worked.
"I see." She smiled a bit and picked up her books off the table. "You don't sound amused by the fact."

"Moonfire was his wife, and Amunet rose from the dead, as all Egyptians seem to do from time to time, and Koji established the Shadow Science department at Cairo University, Raven divorced him, and her married Amunet."
She blinked.
"Lantash is an Egyptian name. Watch out for that."

Mizuki chuckled.
"Ah, good old Headmistress Moonfire. I'm afraid I was a menace at her school in the old days." She shook her head. "I heard about the divorce after Headmistress Moonfire was brought back. But I don't see any problem with Seraph re-marrying, if him and Moonfire had a falling out."
She thought for a moment.
"Amunet... I think I met that woman, after I had just gotten the Millennium Key."

"She was around for a while, but left for Egypt to try not to ruin Koji's marriage."
Linnis frowned.
"Fat lot of good it did. You know, I detest divorce. I know not everyone has a marriage like mine or Rei's or Dawn's, but then isn't the solution obvious?"
She paused for effect.
"Marry gay."

Mizuki burst out laughing.
"I might have if I hadn't done a disappearing act." Mizuki said. She was bi, with more of a leaning towards men then women, but she had the belief that she loved someone no matter what form they took, man or woman, ugly or attractive, good or evil.
After all, her love life had been one of the less pretty messes of the twenty-first century.
"But straight marriages can work as well. Look at Katsu and Tori." Mizuki pointed out. "Or Kenso and Juliet, or Shizuma and Corrona."

She blushed almost instantly, though wasn't surprised at her own bluntness. And in that moment, the inspiration for her Sociology doctoral thesis was born.
"Maybe something about a lesbian marriage induces nymphomania?"

She coughed, her eyes quickly darting around to see if any kids were around. Fortunately there weren't.
"Perhaps it does induce nymphomania. I mean, it can be so creative from what I've heard." Mizuki said with a faint smile and blush. "But I'm sure there's some straight people with it as well so it can't be the only cause, and there's probably lesbian couples who aren't as.... active, as you and Setsuna." She teased.

"I'm assuming little Syaoran makes sure to stay out of the house when Dawn and Trance..." She coughed. Then she laughed. "Either that or the two of them go find a cave." It was a common joke about Dawn and Trance and caves.

"Oh good Ra." Finally Mizuki had turned red. "Holy Ra, Linnis!" She exclaimed, looking to the side and trying to settle her face. "Do you have to..." She tried to regain her composure, but failed miserably.
"Let's hope Trance doesn't plan any surprise visits."

"Man or woman, it doesn't matter to me." She said with a faint smile. Then she sobered.
"Besides... I kind of already messed up my chance with that by going psycho and losing my memories Linnis." She said quietly. She was referring to 'the year of the storm' incident. The story of her involvement in that was already known.

Suddenly a soft voice said '' You didn't go physco Mizuki-sama, you just ohmm... '' the voice paused '' Went slightly bonkers '' continued the voice. Roxxan walked over to the table smiling softly as she held several books in her arms. She looked at Mizukis books and sighed '' Aww I wanted to deliver those during class, like I did with Shizuma-chan '' she complained slightly.

She looked over in complete shock with a light in her eyes.
"ROXXAN!" She squeaked, surprisingly immaturely. She forgot all about the fact that she was in a library, and the fact that she had books. She just dropped them and bowled herself into Roxxan's arms, disregarding the books and she gave her a tight hug.
It was uncustomary for Mizuki Haruka but this was a complete and total shock.
