since this is the closest thing to a games section we have, I figure this is the place to put this.
I've been on many RP sites, and several of them have a game called mafia, it seems kind of popular. I've played a few games and I was wondering if there would be interest for a duel monsters-themed mafia game on the forums.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, here's a quick run-down: The players are divided into 2 groups, the town (the uninformed majority) and the mafia. (the informed minority). During each "day", the town tries to figure out who is part of the mafia and the mafia try to convince everyone else that they're part of the town. the town wins when the mafia is eliminated and the mafia wins when the town is eliminated.
The only big rule for participants is that if you have multiple accounts, only one of them can play (for fairly obvious reasons, if you control 2 players; but 1 is town and the other is mafia, there's a conflict of interests there.)
This game needs at least 7 different people, but the set-up can be made to accommodate up to 20.
any takers?

I've played the game a lot with my theatre company using a standard deck of playing cards. That game also includes an Officer who selects one other player each "night" and the moderator tells them if the selected player is Mafia or not, and a Doctor who selects one player to prevent from being killed each night. Though, the Doctor, usually, is an asshole and selects themselves, but it still adds dimensions to the game.

You've got the general gist of it, but there are tons of other roles that can be integrated into the game with various results and such. since I don't think too many people will have played this before, I'll be walking lots of you through the motions prior to anything actually happening. so I'm guessing that's 2 down. anyone else? also, if you want to know what this is all about, Here is a good flash tutorial.
