Alex hasn't grown much taller in the last ten years. His skin has lost some of it's Australian tan but it still retains most of it's original luster. He still wears his blonde hair in it's loosened and roughened fashion but is more prone to combing it every now and again.

His eyes seem sharper with their deep blue irises. Alex is someone who has remainsed mostly untouched by the last ten years. What has changed however is his dress code. Instead of the casual outfits he once wore he now instead prefers to wear more formal outfits to most outgoings.

Personality:

The last ten years have changed Alex's personality dramatically. He has become much wiser in his choices. Less reckless and somehwat of a goody-two-shoes. He retains a somewhat Jubiant mood most of the time but knows when an amount of maturity is required.

His attitude towards people still hasn't changed though. He still attempts to cheer upeveryone around him. Regardless of wether they know him or not.

History:

Alex studied at Kaiba's duel academy from the age of 14 and graduated somewhere around the 17-18 mark. It is unknown wether he reached the famed Violet Rank by this time. His first year at Kaiba's duel academy was one of investigation as he tried to figure out what had happened to his sister Kayla, who lay unconcious in Domino City Hospital. His search bore no results other than the fact that Kayla had somehow been involved with the abandoned dorm. Alex also met a Ra girl by the name of Mana Indra and a fellow Slifer named Jake Joza whom he soon became friends with.

During his second year at the academy he won his rank duel and progressed to Ra, leaving behind Jake who was soon to overtake him. Alex lost any real social connection he had with Mana at this time. It was also this year that Kayla dissapeared from Domino Hospital and Alex spent his year at the Academy trying to dig up more information on what had happened to her. Once again his investigations proved futile and Alex had to simply wait until his sister showed up at the Ra dorms begging him to come back to Australia.

It was the start of his third year at Kaiba's duel academy when he left without telling anyone, including his girlfriend Daria whom he had grown extremley close to during his time at the academy. After spending a year at home in Australia with his sister Alex returned to complete his final years at the academy.

His relationship with almost everyone at the academy was in shambles. Most people he had known had either dropped out or graduated during his absence. Daria however, remained and it took a few months for him to revive his relationship with her. It was also this year that Alex graduated to Obelisk in a duel against Marvelo Namaguchi. Alex was also reinvited to an organisation known as the Myreque, which he had been disbanded numerous times since it's original formation under Pierce Just and Vahn Gale.

With only two years left at the academy Alex was determined to reach Hourketai: the pinnacle of dueling at the academy. He devoted the next two years towards reaching this goal and it is unkown wether or not he achieved it. Another not of intrest that occured in the year Alex returned to the academy is that he lost contact with his duel spirits during the time of the Spirit Festival that year. Noyone knows if Alex regained contact with his spirits and he is very defensive when talking about it.

After graduating from the academy Alex joined the Pro-Circuit and had a relative amount of sucsses before he made a life-changing desicion. He adopted two children from Zimbabwe by the names of Shahila and Tamba. Alex had only adopted the two on an impulse after visiting the country on a Pro-Circuit tour and seeing the devestation in the area and being reminded of his own childhood as an orphan. Tamba is set to attend the Academy this year and so Alex has come to live in the area and hopefully get Tamba into the academy while he finds a place to work.
